Strategy and objectives
References to sustainability, responsible sourcing, decarbonisation, renewable energy, regenerative practices and biodiversity describe AGG’s strategic focus, approaches or objectives. They should not be interpreted as guarantees of environmental outcomes.
Context and evidence
Sustainability terminology, methodologies and standards vary and evolve. Statements should be understood in their specific project or business context. Estimates depend on the information, assumptions and methodology used at the time.
Carbon and environmental projects
Carbon projects may be subject to applicable methodologies, independent validation and verification, registry requirements, additionality, permanence, monitoring and evolving market practices. Project development does not guarantee the issuance of credits or the achievement of an environmental result.
Third-party processes
Where claims depend on certification, validation, verification or registries, those processes must be considered separately. A reference to a standard or organisation does not imply endorsement by that organisation.
Values and future change
The price, liquidity and marketability of environmental assets may vary. Regulation, market practice, technology and scientific knowledge may change, and AGG’s approaches and terminology may develop accordingly.
